# capt-hook lint

Lint hook files against the authoring bar without running them.

``` bash
capt-hook lint [OPTIONS] [PATHS]...
```

A message states the rule, then the remediation, in at most two sentences, with no quoted messages, record ids, dates, session ids, token counts, or narrative. Hook code matches commands with parsed conditions, reads the session through `evt.ctx`, lets failures raise, and carries no comments. PATHS default to the hooks directory; test files are skipped. `test` and `pack test` run the same lint. Exits non-zero on any finding.
